- Some advice about coffee to preserve the aroma and flavor of coffee grounds, add a little sugar and store it in a sealed container.
- The filter is important for a good cup of coffee. When it’s new, boil it in an infusion of used coffee grounds. Always moisten the filter before using it.
- Scald the coffee pot, cups, and filter with hot water. This will result in a tastier beverage.
- Coffee should not be reheated. However, if you need to, always do it in a double boiler.
- When coffee boils during reheating, it loses its aroma and flavor. However, times are tough, and we don’t want to waste anything. So, if you accidentally let the coffee boil, do the following:
- When removing it from the heat, add a teaspoon of cold water to prevent an unpleasant taste.
- But don’t offer it to me because I don’t accept reheated coffee.
COFFEE BRULOT RECIPE – INGREDIENTS
- 4 cups of coffee
- Peel of ½ orange
- Peel of ½ lemon
- 8 tablespoons of sugar
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 10 cloves
- 2 cups of brandy
COFFEE BRULOT RECIPE PREPARATION
- Put the chopped orange and lemon peels, sugar, broken cinnamon sticks, crushed cloves, and brandy in an Agate or enamel saucepan.
- Place the saucepan on the heat and stir everything until it warms up and mixes well.
- Set fire to the brandy inside the saucepan to ignite it.
- Leave it for about a minute to avoid burning the entire drink.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and gradually add the hot, fresh coffee. The coffee will naturally extinguish the flame.
- Stir well and strain into coffee cups or clay, ceramic, or enameled mugs.
